I found out, that I introduced a last minute bug, when doing the last minute changes to the game. That's what you get when things are rushed. So if you reach level 3, you will see the cube pieces change shape constantly. But the game still works, continue until the next level (if you can) and it will get back to normal. I'll see if I can fix it soon, once I have at least one more good night sleep. The last minute cube block Preview on the top left, is also not working. I also noticed that now the game starts on it's own That's because I removed the unfinished Menu, and changed the order of the screens. Now High Scores (AKA the Crypt) only appear after you have played.

There are still quite a few features, that were designed, but which time didn't allow to include in the game for this specific date.
I'll document some of those here and next will implement them in the game.
One of those was to have AY Music, which due to several things, was not complete/ready at the closing time, hence will be added after.
But most of the gameplay features, are in. There is some tweaking and game balance still to do/improve.
There are quite a few things that requires the player to learn the nuances of the game play and all the tricks you can do.
For example: - How to increase your score using the same amount of cubes matched. - How to get Bonus points. - What the Totems do and influence. - How speed affects game play and how you need to change your strategy due to that for each level. - etc...
And obviously the extra hurdles of unlocking the Surprise special feature.

Since the cat is out of the bag (sort of), here is an image of the opaque, textured and colored 3D effects used in the game. If you are able to please the gods (represented by the Totems), you are allowed to rotate the Board in 360º clockwise or anti-clockwise (depending on which Gods/Totems are pleased). Being able to rotate the board is essential when you get into a tight spot, when you fill a particular vertical plane of the board, hence allowing you to place more pieces without bursting and hence losing the game. However, playing the board in 3D, increases the challenge, since some parts obscure others, and it's not always easy to see where you are placing the new piece.

Just some basic knowledge and tips for playing the game:
1 - A new 2x2 piece will wait a specific time before starting to fall. 2 - A new 2x2 piece, once falling, will do so at a specific speed. 3 - There is an horizontal Light Beam that traverses the board at a set speed. 4 - Making a multiple of a 2x2 vertical square match of the same color will mark the pieces for removal. 5 - Pieces are offered to the Gods/Totems (hence removed from the board), when the Light Beam passes over the marked pieces. 6 - Gods/Totems are pleased by receiving offerings (matches). 7 - You must not please only one of the Gods (do matches for both colors), since Gods are jealous of your offerings and the one being let down will punish you. 8 - You can explore the freedom of the after life, using the extra 3D board space, if the Gods are pleased. 9 - The larger the amount of pieces removed per Light Beam pass, the larger the score. 10 - Each new level shows new offering patterns. 11 - Settings for 1, 2 and 3. change according to the level you reach.

The things, seem to have slowed down to a crawl around here. Very few interactions between the developers or players.
I wish this was more interactive.
